A number of things had to be considered for the new design of Het Budget Hotel in Hazerswounde-Rijndijk. As the name says, a budget concept had to be set up that could be realized per room within a certain amount.

Wishes:

• Possibly second-hand, recycled material but must be scalable for a hotel of 100 rooms

• The rooms are all 16-22 m2 incl. Bathroom with a sink/shower and toilet

• In the choice of materials and design it must be visible that we consider budget

• Materials must be easy to keep clean, comply with fire safety and be very flexible in the rooms.

• The entrance is the lobby of the hotel where you enter

• A concept space in the hotel. This room should be a living room idea including bar/counter/reception. Here should be a coffee corner and laundry room with 10 washingmachines.

• A recreation room where all guests can eat/drink/be together/celebrate/can play darts/pool for local residents and guests from the hotel.
